A Creative Hub for Zanzibar’s Next Generation

Zanzibar Vibrations is a community-driven project in Shungi, South-East Zanzibar, developed together with the local NGO Up with Community. Our goal is to create a vibrant place where young people, creatives and entrepreneurs can learn, work, create and connect.

A Place to Learn, Create & Grow

The Creative Hub will provide access to workspaces, computers, internet, creative equipment and practical training. Activities will range from photography, videography, design and music to digital marketing, entrepreneurship, tourism and cultural events.

The aim is to give local talent the tools and opportunities to turn ideas and skills into real professional opportunities, businesses and sustainable livelihoods.

Built for the Community

At the heart of Zanzibar Vibrations are young people and creatives from Shungi, Jambiani, Makunduchi and surrounding communities.

But Zanzibar Vibrations is about more than building a physical space. The long-term vision is to create a locally rooted, sustainable creative ecosystem that is increasingly shaped and led by the community itself.

Learn. Create. Connect. Grow. Vibrate.
